How to Limit Authors to their Own Posts in WordPress Admin

maxresdefaultYou are well aware that the post screens get a little crowded if you are the owner of a multi author website. One of our most following user questioned us whether there is any way to limit the WordPress post screen via which authors can only see their own post. This article will entirely discuss about the way that will limit authors to their own post in WordPress admin. Kindly read bellow and please follow every step so that you could recieve the desired output.
For the purpose of limiting authors to their own post, the first most important thing that you will have to do is to install and activate the manage/view your own posts only plugin. Don’t worry about configuration as this plugin works out of the box. If you login with administrator user role, then you will be able to see all the post. Others will only see their own role.
What is way to allow the editors to view all the post?
The drawback of the above requested to install plugin is that it will only allow administrator users to view all post and none other. Normally there are editors for the purpose of proof reading article many times almost on every WordPress site. The use of this plugin will restrict them to be limited to just their own post. This simply means that the above requested to install plugin becomes useless.
A code can be added as an alternative solution. The code will help the editor user to view all post along with their only post.
Please note that others will see their only post i.e they will be limited.
Note that if you are using custom user role on your website, then users who can edit the post by others will also be able to see them.
I hope that you like the content and it is helpful to you. Please follow for the desired output and don’t forget to give us our feedback.
